History

Kisuma Chemicals has been located at Bilitonweg in Veendam since 1999. At our plant, we produce synthetic magnesium compounds, such as hydrotalcite and magnesium hydroxide. Hydrotalcite is used as an acid substitute in the plastics industry, for example, and magnesium hydroxide is suitable for use as a flame retardant in plastics. 

The plant's current production sees more than 100 people working 24/7 in shifts at the plant to achieve rapid production.

We are the largest synthetic hydrotalcite production site in the world.

The time you work extra on busy days can be taken up again at other times.

We also have arrangements for maternity leave, parental leave and care leave, for example, but you also get a day off if you are moving.

Pension
Kisuma has taken out pension insurance for its employees. And the great thing is that Kisuma pays 100% of the available premium. And even more has been arranged for later, Kisuma also pays the survivor's and orphan's pension.
